    Rodeo Friday and Saturday Nights all Summer:


  • Granby Rodeo the Flying Heels Arena, located on Highway 40. Saturday rodeo from Memorial day to end of Summer.
  • Fraser Rodeo aka High Country Stampede: Dubbed the best little rodeo in Colorado. Enjoy this Saturday night classic in Fraser.

    There are four Golf Courses in Grand County: Pole Creek, Grand Elk, Headwaters, and Grand Lake.  Come and see if the ball does fly higher at altitude!


    Rocky Mountain National Park


    Known as the western gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake offers easy and convenient access to one of the nation’s most well known national parks. It’s glorious mountain peaks, ranging as high as 14,000 feet above sea level, are home to an abundant variety of wildlife including the majestic big horn sheep, elk, mule deer, moose, coyotes and a great variety of smaller animals. (in the summer you can drive through the entire park to Estes Park, in the winter you may only access lower trails located close to the Grand Lake area).

      A family-friendly ski mountain with 5 Parks and 1 Halfpipe.


    The Winter Park and Fraser Snowmobile Trails are located in the Arapaho National Forest on the east and west side of Highway 40 near the towns of Fraser and Winter Park.

    Nordic & Cross Country Skiing


    With over 300 kilometers of groomed trail in five Nordic ski Grand County is a great place to learn how to ski.




    During the winter our mountain biking and hiking trails become a snowshoer’s dream. Come try them out.
