Winter Park Colorado part of Grand County is located in northwest area of Colorado.  The town of Winter Park and the surrouding areas are filled with outdoor activities galore making Winter Park and the Fraser Valley an outdoor enthusiasts paradise!  When you drive over the majestic Berthoud Pass, your vision will be filled by the view of the seemingly endless trees and mountains with views that seem to go on forever.  As you drive down into the Fraser Valley you will enter our scenic mountain community now surrounded by the gorgeous peaks of the Continental Divide to the east and Byers Peak to the west.   The list of activities that you encounter when you visit the Winter Park area are just as numerous are the spectacular mountain views.

Our list of Winter Park summer activities include:  Biking, camping, golfing, hiking/backpacking, jeep tours, kayaking/rafting, rock climbing, rodeo, water sports or enjoying the base area activities at Winter Park Resort.  Summer events include the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce concert series with free music events on the weekends, the Blues and Jazz Festival, Highnote Thursdays, the Winter Park Beer Festival and the American Music Festival.  The list just goes on and on!  Relaxing could also be counted as an activity, just watching the puffy clouds blow on by with the soft breeze blowing the sweet scent of summer through the air.  You will find that many of the locals were drawn here because of the winter but ended up staying because of the summer.   Summer time in Winter Park and the Fraser Valley area is surely an experience of paradise on earth.
